NuDraper workday this Sat April 2nd 10 AM

Postby shutter2ride » Wed Mar 30, 2011 9:04 pm

we'll do some more work in the Black loop to:

- rough cut a new 'return to the top' trail.
- make a new 'quick exit' just before the beam
- do some dirt work in the jump line

we'll meet right at 10 AM in the parking lot. if you run late just go to the Black.

come help us and meet some of the folks who build your local trails...

Marcel,
Thanks for trail post and update.

Yes the plan is to add some more 1track to black loop to give it a complete loop feel.

We have made updates to the tabletop in the black loop and have the trail returning under the big wood structure towards the south. The Black loop does not access the blue any more. The black is the black and the Blue is the blue, no old blue or new blue. The color changes will be reflected on the new map wild Bill is working on..

Cadillac track: rides so smooth and fast as hell...

btw: also Draper trail boss

Got to ride all the work you've done since I was last there. Great job on the red and black. Had so much speed at the end of the jump lines - going into the turns was thinking maybe needed a wall instead of a berm  ., I know; I don't get paid to think. Off to ride Palo Duro Canyon tomorrow and then back to trying to pay for my mountain bike transporter.

Palo Duro Canyon is on my top ten list. Great mix of easy and technical single-track and fantastic scenery. Right now as it is very dry, it's just as sandy as NuDraper, you'll feel right at home.
