Clearbay is in awesome shape right now. Corners are fast, no sand, no mud, no trail litter. Go ride it before it's too late! I even brought back a souvenir.....yep, a tick! already out there!

I heard in the parking lot today that somebody crashed big time this morning on the first bridge on the Gold trail.

Any news? Hope they're okay.

Found this map today and it is alot newer than the one you have up. Went to ride there the other day thinking "oh, 4 miles isn't too bad" only to realize it was more like 11.6 or something, I am kinda fuzzy on the specifics seeing as I was heat stroking lol.

Forgot to mention that there are some big limbs down crossing the trail. I moved one that nearly skewered me. And theres still poison ivy as I recently discovered. Otherwise, enjoy.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time. I love the trail system out there, but one of the characteristics that I really like is that there are many different sections and loops, which makes it real easy to get turned around. Not to mention no real bailouts posted if you decide to cut your ride short. Some pretty cool structures, but if I have not ridden them in awhile, or in your case, I would give them a good look before riding.

What time do you plan to ride? If you plan to ride sometime after 4:00pm and are not concerned about things like average laps times, I can show you around the outside loop.

Anyone know how it's looking down there recently? I haven't been there in a really long time, but last time I went it was pretty overgrown and hard to navigate.

I was down there 2 weeks ago ago, rode most of the gold loop. Definitely take plenty of bug spray, so that the ticks will not carry you off. I love the trail and had a blast, but then I tend to prefer trails with backwoods characteristics. There is plenty of tall grass and sand. Signage still is sparce. If you would like someone to ride with and a chance to get familiar with the place again, give me a holler.
